Ozzy is a 3.5 year old red tri male who is looking for a farm or quiet home with room to run. He gets along well with most dogs so could have a fur sibling if a good match...but he is reactive to some dogs so no dog parks (puppies he does not do well around).. he needs a home with either no kids or much older kids as he is nervous at first with new people he needs a quieter home (not somewhere that has kids running around, and new people over often)...
he loves to chase the ball or frisbee, has great recall and loves to be outside. He also loves to swim. He does have a high chase drive so not sure about cats. He would do well in a home that does not often have new people or new dogs around with a large fenced yard or farm to roam. He has done several dog training courses and we have worked with trainers to help him get more confident and comfortable with new people, bikes, kids etc..he has come a long way but is still uneasy in new situations and around new people. He is neutered and up to date on all shots.
We are located in Ottawa. Please contact Dana at dmasters016@gmail.com for more information about Ozzy

Toba is a very happy, energetic, and playful girl. True to her breed Toba is highly intelligent, quickly learns new tricks, and is always eager to work. She is primarily motivated by toys but will also take food and/or treats gently on command. Her favourite games are tug-of-war, frisbee, fetch and loves to chase anything that moves (birds, squirrels, etc). Toba is housebroken, crate trained and is aware of the basic commands: sit, down, stay or wait, come/touch, drop it, leave it, go to your bed, ok (release for food in hand or bowl). She is also able to put on a show with a few tricks: give me 10, high 5, shake a paw, fist pump, peek-a-boo, spin/twist, boing (jump on spot), circle (around you while standing), and heel. Toba would greatly benefit from agility/obstacle course training.
Quiet country living would be ideal with lots of land and a fully fenced in yard so that she can run, sniff, and possibly dig. Walking on a leash can be an adventure at times. Toba needs more work on impulse control and reactivity related to her excitement; ensuring she is physically and mentally exhausted first greatly helps. She loves to be around her owner and would benefit from somebody being around all the time to give her jobs to do. Toba would likely do best as the only pet in a house with adults. She can become overly excited with new people or protective at the door/window/fence (jump/bark), but very affectionate once she gets to know you. If you are an experienced owner who is prepared to continue Toba’s training at home, able to provide the physical and mental stimulation to bring out the best in her, and are interested in meeting Toba, please contact msmith093@gmail.com and tell me about yourself and why you think Toba would be a good fit. |
